What's New for 2023?
Ford's Super Duty pickup truck encompasses both the Ford F-250 and F-350.
Ford's Super Duty pickup truck encompasses both the Ford F-250 and F-350. These models receive revitalized engines and upgraded looks. Under the hood, the 7.3-liter V-8 gets a revised air intake and refined tuning, and there's an all-new 6.7-liter V-8 diesel engine. There are new "C-clamp" lighting and functional side vents on the outside.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard is redesigned along with a new digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment display. Additionally, four-wheel drive becomes standard on XLT and Lariat models, though rear-wheel drive is still standard on the base XL.
Performance
There are three powertrain options for the Super Duty models:
- 6.8-liter gasoline 385 horsepower V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission
- 7.3-liter gasoline 500 hp V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission
- 6.7-liter turbocharged 475 hp diesel V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission
The Super Duty boasts a maximum payload capacity of 8,000 pounds and can tow up to 40,000 pounds.
Technology
The base XL trim comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, while more high-end models get a larger 12.0-inch display. Ford has also integrated a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot and fleet management software with onboard telematics. An eight-speaker stereo is standard though an 18-speaker one is optional. Other features include two 110-volt household-style outlets and massaging front seats.
Safety
A host of new safety features is integrated into the 2023 Super Duty'sDuty's design. These include several trailering features and adaptive cruise control. Other advanced driver-aids include automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a 360-degree camera.
